Day 1 – Mombasa – Amboseli
Depart from your hotel in Mombasa very early in the morning, ideally between 4.30 and 5.30 am, to allow enough time for the long road journey. You travel along the Mombasa–Nairobi Highway, passing through Mariakani, Voi and Mtito Andei. A breakfast stop is usually made in Voi or Mtito Andei before continuing the journey towards Emali and then turning off to Oloitokitok Road. The drive is scenic, with views of open plains, sisal plantations and Maasai homesteads along the way. You arrive in Amboseli National Park in the early afternoon, complete park entry formalities and proceed to your lodge or camp with a short game drive en route. Lunch is served at the lodge, followed by a brief rest period. In the late afternoon, you head out for your first game drive, exploring areas around the swamps and open plains where elephants, buffalo, giraffes and plains game are commonly seen. As the sun sets, you may enjoy beautiful views of Mount Kilimanjaro if the weather is clear. You return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 Amboseli National Reserve 
start with an early morning game drive just after sunrise, when wildlife is most active and the light is ideal for photography. This is the best time to spot large elephant herds moving across the plains, predators such as lions and hyenas, and a wide variety of birdlife around the swamps. After the game drive, you return to the lodge for breakfast and some leisure time. Later in the morning, you head out again to explore deeper parts of the park, including the observation areas and permanent swamps that attract wildlife throughout the year. Lunch is taken back at the lodge, followed by a rest period during the hottest part of the day. In the afternoon, you may choose to visit a nearby Maasai village at an additional cost to learn about local traditions and culture, or simply relax at the lodge. Later in the afternoon, you enjoy another game drive, focusing on different sections of the park and taking advantage of the soft evening light. You return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 Amboseli Mombasa/Nairobi
enjoy an early morning game drive before breakfast, giving you one last opportunity to see wildlife and capture photographs of Mount Kilimanjaro in the morning light. After the game drive, you return to the lodge for breakfast, check out and begin the journey back to Mombasa. The return drive follows the same route via Oloitokitok, Emali and Mtito Andei, with lunch and refreshment stops along the way. You arrive back in Mombasa in the late afternoon or early evening, marking the end of your Amboseli National Park safari.
