Day 1: Diani to Malindi and Marafa Hell’s Kitchen Tour

At 0700 hours, you will depart from Diani Beach and drive north towards Malindi. The scenic coastal journey takes several hours, with arrival in Malindi around midday. Upon arrival, you will check in to your beach hotel and enjoy lunch. After lunch, at approximately 1445 hours, you will head out for the Malindi sand dunes experience. Here, you can choose between riding a motor quad, camel, or horse to explore the expansive white sand dunes, making it a fun and adventurous activity. At around 1600 hours, you will proceed to Marafa Hell’s Kitchen for a guided hike. This time is ideal as temperatures are cooler, making the walk more comfortable. You will explore the dramatic sandstone gorges, learn about the local legends, and enjoy the spectacular views as the sun sets. After the sundowner experience, you will drive back to your hotel in Malindi for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Malindi City Tour and Beach Leisure

After breakfast, at around 0745 hours, you will depart for a half-day Malindi city tour. This tour covers key attractions and gives you insight into the town’s rich history, culture, and coastal heritage. After completing the city tour, you will return to your hotel in time for lunch. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure, allowing you to relax and enjoy the hotel facilities, swim at the beach or pool, or simply unwind. Dinner will be served at the hotel, followed by an overnight stay.

Day 3: Malindi to Diani

After breakfast, you will enjoy a relaxed morning at the hotel. At around 1000 hours, you will check out and begin the drive back to Diani Beach. The journey continues along the coast, with arrival back in Diani in the late afternoon, marking the end of your Marafa Hell’s Kitchen and Malindi beach holiday.
